Student Council for 2011-2012 School Year

We have an exciting array of talented students who are eager to make Madonna del Sasso School a spirited place to be. The student council will promote middle school dances, holiday celebrations, Catholic Schools' Week in late winter, and other school-wide spirit building activities throughout the school year.

These dynamic student leaders will learn and develop their leadership skills, strategies for cooperative / collaborative planning and implementation of student body activities, and organization techniques for the successful programming of events. Moreover, this year's current student council will have the opportunity to serve the school administration in an advisory capacity on various school policies.

They will exercise their representation of the student body as the "voice" of the students. Thus, the privilege of service to school as a student council leader enhances not only the student's own learning experience, but also that of the entire student body.
